Our specialties
PTSD is not weakness, and it is not permanent. With the right treatment, people who have carried trauma for years get their lives back. We’ve watched it happen.

Post-traumatic stress disorder develops after experiencing or witnessing trauma — combat, line-of-duty incidents, accidents, violence. It affects sleep, relationships, concentration, and physical health, and it is especially common among veterans and first responders. It is also highly treatable. Our PTSD program is led by clinicians with direct military and VA clinical experience, including former staff work in VA Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Clinics.
Medication can relieve the anxiety, depression, and sleep disruption that ride along with PTSD. SSRIs are first-line; prazosin specifically targets trauma nightmares. Benzodiazepines are approached with real caution in PTSD care — they can be habit-forming — and our prescribers will always explain the reasoning behind any recommendation.
Many of our patients add complementary approaches — structured exercise, yoga, acupuncture — that research supports for anxiety, depression, and insomnia symptoms. Through our Total Wellness program, sleep, fitness, and nutrition work can be folded directly into your treatment plan.

Recovery is a team effort — and the team includes people who’ve been there.
